Not what I expected

I bought the shoes under the impression that the sole is leather... received it with PU sole. I asked for a return and I was informed that the leather sole comes at higher cost and 30 to 40 working days. I accepted and asked not to refund the money and keep it as downpaymnent. The order was confirmed. Two weeks later while asking about the order status, I was informed that the order is not booked and I will get a refund ...
